We are pleased to again have Best of Books of Edmond operate the Bookstore, allowing for convenient sales of our books. All OWFI members and conference speakers are eligible to participate.  Authors who want their books available for sale must conform to the following  guidelines. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please remember that Best of Books is in the book selling business, and despite many books sold during the conference, this is not a big  moneymaker for them. Please treat their staff with respect and courtesy.

Authors (or publishers) must notify the book room chairperson, Doug  Kelley, by April 6th of any title(s) they shiwant included in the book room inventory, choosing one of the three  options below. DO NOT contact Best of Books directly. Due to limited  space, non-speaker titles and authors of multiple books will be limited to five copies on display at any one time.

Option No. 1: Best of Books, of Edmond, OK (405/340-9202), will order your books from Ingram or your publisher IF they are returnable and IF the bookstore receives the standard retailer discount.   Best of Books will split profits of this option with OWFI. Neither Best of Books nor OWFI assumes responsibility for delays in shipment, short ships, or publisher/shipper errors. Best of Books will not purchase books via the Internet, self-published books, electronic books, or any others that cannot be returned. This unfortunately includes the recently popular Publish America list. Those authors can utilize Option 2.

Option No. 2: Authors provide books to Best of Books, who will mark up the invoice price by 30%, of which 10% will go to OWFI. Those using this option should bring in their books on Friday morning, along with an invoice indicating title, author's name, address, quantity, and  retail price. Unsold books must be picked up at the end of the autographing session Saturday afternoon.

Option No. 3: Author sells his/her own books in a separate area of  the book room, conducting all sales and providing his or her own change. Neither Best of Books nor OWFI will receive any portion of those sales.
