If you're a full-time high school or college student you can be a member of the Oklahoma Writers' Federation, Inc., at no cost to you. Membership in OWFI grants you a subscription to our seasonal publication, The Report, and access to members-only educational material, our annual writing contest, virtual workshops, and much more!

In order to qualify, you must be a full-time student in a home-schooled, private school, or public school setting at either the high school or college (undergraduate or graduate) levels. There is no maximum age limit.

Qualifying students also receive a discount on conference registration.

Please fill out the form below. You will need some electronic form of proof of your full-time student status. If you're in college, you could download a PDF of your class registration. If you're in high school, you could take a picture of your report card or student ID (showing your high school's name and seal). If you're home-schooled, have your parent/guardian/teacher write you a letter, sign it, and scan it as a JPG, PNG, or PDF. These are just examples; the important thing is that you demonstrate that you are a full-time student in one way or another.

Once you submit the form, give us at least 48 hours to activate your membership. A volunteer will look at your proof, get in touch with you if they have any questions, then invite you to activate your brand new member account. See you on the other side!
