GCRR Monthly Meeting

  • Patrick Lynch Public Library 206 South McKenna Street Poteau, OK, 74953 United States (map)

What makes a romance novel a romance? How do you write a kissing story? Writing a well structured romance isn't the same as writing any other genre. The romance arc is made up of its own story beats, and the external plot and theme need to be braided to the romance arc. Come join us for a discussion of Romancing the Beat Story Structure for Romance Novels by Gwen Hayes.

Bring 5-7 copies of your work in progress for critique group. 2500 words maximum.

Business meeting to follow.
