Thanks to the creative spirit and contagious generosity of OWFI members, affiliates, faculty, and conference-goers, our successful Basket Wars program provides full and one-day conference scholarships to applicants each year. If you’re ready to join us this May but the budget is holding you back, please review the program information below and send an application. We can’t wait to see you there!

• Lodging and add-ons such as pre-con, extra banquet tickets, luncheons, and workshops are not included.

• Membership in OWFI is encouraged but not required.

• Applications for scholarships must be received no later than March 15th.

• Notifications of selection will be announced by late March, before Early Bird registration ends.

• All candidates must complete the following application in full.

• Previous scholarship recipients will be considered if funding is available after new applications have been reviewed.

• All scholarship recipients must agree to volunteer time during the conference – two hours over the course of the conference. Volunteers will be assigned a committee and time slot by our organizers. Failure to show up at the appointed time for volunteer work will result in the recipient being ineligible for receiving a scholarship ever again.
