In keeping with the 50th anniversary of OWFI, the 2018 costume contest will have a Back to the 50s theme. Come dressed as your favorite 1950s character in either books, movies, TV, music, and/or art.

Also, I am pleased to announce a new category the year: The Best Group Category. (Peggy Chambers inspired this category last year with her Ghostbusters group.)

Prizes will be awarded for: Most Original/Creative, Most whimsical/humorous, Best Group, and Best Over-All.

So, polish up your saddle shoes. Let out that poodle skirt. Find that coonskin cap, and clean that letter sweater.
